What do you wear when it’s really, I mean REALLY hot outside? I am not talking about beachwear, I am talking about being dressed properly. Wearing too little can be inappropriate, wearing too much can be very uncomfortable when it’s scorching hot. My advice is: don’t go for tight and tiny, go for big and loose! Fabric protects you from the sun, but it should touch the skin as little as possible – let the air circulate! To avoid looking like a tent with legs, invest in a good belt and wear platform sandals.
I know, you know already….I just wanted to show you my new dress.
(To my male readers: Everything YOU need to know about proper summer wear you can find in Joerg’s *84 article)
(Thank you, my darling Frank, for the beautful pictures and for not letting me take the pictures on the railroad tracks)

Julia wears a dress made by herself from a curtain found at a fleamarket in Paris, a belt by Hallhuber, shoes by Marc O’Polo, a necklace by Whistles, stripy bracelet from Portobello market London, black/gold one by H+M, sunglasses are vintage Emmanuelle Khan and the tote is by Surface to Air.
