I promised I would do the ‘dressing up for christmas’ tutorial all month long – so here we go.
Before we start going into details we have to put one thing straight: Is it really necessary to dress up for a christmas party? Can’t we just come as we are, drink a few mugs of mulled wine and have a good time? My answer is: Of course you can! But you will miss out on a great opportunity. It’s christmas time, for God’s sake! You can get all glitzy and fabulous, put on all those clothes that are hanging around in your wardrobe all year waiting for ‘that special occasion’. How often do you really go to the opera? Or walk down a red carpet? See – now here you have your four weeks to shake the dust off your beautiful lurex pieces and get all silky and Swarowski. You can make people happy by dressing up! At least your dry cleaner when bringing in all those wine stained ‘dry clean only’ treasures the next day.
OK, I think you got my point now. Enjoy the next few weeks and just try it out.

I am wearing a vintage di bari lurex sweater dress with a Corey Lynn Calter belt, Falke tights, vintage Pensato pumps, my vintage Nina Ricci nacklace and tons of bracelets.
