This picture is not is chronological order – the grass is
green, it’s summer – but I couldn’t leave it unposted since
it shows Joerg so simple and pure, just the essentials.
Joerg ALWAYS has a camera on him and uses it very
frequently. A camera in Joerg’s hand is both a tool and
the perfect accessory to complete his look. To me it is a
symbol for his character, always searching, observing,
intensly following and documenting the world that
surrounds him (Joerg is also, by the way, co-founder of
the great FotoDoks festival for documentary photography).
The perfect little camera is Joerg’s very personal ‘object
of desire’, just like some ladies are eternally seeking for
the perfect handbag, the perfect pair of heels, the perfect
‘little black dress’…to be continued…..
