It’s that time of the year when women start to panic:
What can I get my man for christmas? For all you
stressed out women – relax and take last-minute
advice from a pro. Casually standing next to his grand
piano (lots of wrapping paper needed for that kind of
gift) is Mr. Bryan Ferry, a class of his own. He dated
Jerry Hall before she decided (for some unknown reason)
to go for Mick Jagger, he is a world class musician and
for decades he cultivated his very own british-dandy-
gentleman-style, always stayed true to this very particular
blazer-shirt-tie-gelled hair-look and still managed a kind
of eccentricity (please note the blue velvet blazer he is
wearing) within those limitations. And there he is –
piling up all the essentials that a true gentleman really
needs in front of him : a Louis Vuitton travel bag, a few
leather suitcases, a classic umbrella and a pair of
John Lobbs (and a grand piano of course), in a house
that gives the term ‘bohemian chic’ a new meaning.
You see a man whose home is where he lays his hat,
but who always takes a piece of
his world along with
him. That’s what I call ‘cool’.
(Thank you Daniel for your wonderful and quite
personal portrait)
