How do men manage to get dressed so quickly?
I have a breakfast date with Joerg and I am running a little
late so I send him a text message. 3 minutes later he replies
that he totally overslept, just woke up, but will be there in
10 minutes. I order coffee and scrambled eggs and get ready
for a little waiting time. 9 minutes later I see Joerg locking
his stylish yellow-green bike in front of the café. His hair
looks perfect, beard as well, his outfit rustic-urban-edgy
and even his little perler-bead-eye, ‘Stop Nuclear Power
Plants’ and the ‘pork’-button are in place, let alone his
unshakeable laid-back attitude. I am not planning on
supporting any gender stereotypes here – but women are
different.
Jörg rides a bike by Basso (bought by his father in 1986,
passed on to Joerg in 2008), he wears Replay pants, his
jacket is by the parisian label loft, his dip dyed sweater is
by Steve Mc Queen, his shoes are by Wolverine (bought
in a lovely men’s fashion store in Kopenhagen). His
buttons are ‘Stop Nuclear Power Plants’, ‘Pork’ by David
Shrigley and his girlfriend made the eye for him.
