Susanne knitted a sculpture. With her self-made ‘Strickliesl‘
she created a piece of art. Wearing a scarf like this you don’t
really have to care about the rest of your outfit. That’s fashion
and craftsmanship at it’s most beautiful – interesting,
eye-catching, inspiring, useful. Like long tentacles the scarf
wraps itself around her shoulders and it almost irritates that
something that looks so heavy and rope-like is of such lightness
and softness. Susanne knows how to make a statement and so
she keeps the rest of her outfit simple and almost monochrome
greyish and therefore enhances a statuesque appearance – how
very appropriate that this picture was taken at ‘Haus der Kunst‘
(art museum).
Susanne wears a hand-made scarf, shoes by Lacoste, a skirt by
H+M, her friend Anna’s T-shirt, jacket and cardigan are
fleamarket finds.
