Sometimes a simple sweater tells you more about the character of its wearer than a long conversation. Take a good look at this black sweater with the cat illustration and you’ll find out a lot about Joerg: first of all it’s well made and well designed (made by Ayzit Bostan, fashion designer, artist), it’s artsy (the illustration is by Martin Fengel, photographer, illustrater, artist) it’s a little childish and it’s got a certain kind of humour (cat, smoking and drinking? ‘When the mice are away the cat will play’…something sounds not right…). And the cat has got a beard. And it glows in the dark. And oddly enough right when I shot Joerg in the park a dog started to do its business right next us, as if to prove a point (too much cat around?) and that’s the comical side of life that Joerg enjoys very much.
Joerg wears sweater with Martin Fengel illustration by Ayzit Bostan, exté jeans, pink Strenesse shirt, socks byPaul Smith, Helly Hansen sneakers, his Casio watch and a customized Fuji X1 camera.
