This time of the year you have to be prepared. Almost every day there is some kind of festive activity around the corner. Either a christmas party at work, an after work mulled wine get-together at a christmas market or just a little romantic walk in the wintery park with your sweetheart. People with a certain fashion and style awareness might always take a little ‘christmas-party-emergency-kit’ to work during that time of the year – chunky sweater, high heels, sequined something – but I suggest we all just learn from Claire. Make the effort to think about your hairdo a few minutes more than usual in the morning and put on your studded (or sparkly) boots. Any warm, oversized black sweater and skinny jeans will do the trick and and you’ll have that certain effortless glamour that’s so hard to achieve (if you are not Kate Moss) and won’t freeze to death in case it’s the sweetheart-in-the-park option.
