I am deeply in love with Kate Bush. I love her music, her slightly hysterical voice, her deeply symbolic videos, her free dance choreographies and not least – her costumes. Skintight leotards, headbands, floaty, layered dresses, generously accessorized with silky chiffon scarfs used in every possible way to enhance her fairy-dervish-like appearances. I am sure Kate Bush never needed a therapist to find out what was hidden deep inside. Just watch her videos and you can see a women who relentlessly lives her dreams and phantasies without fear and hesitation. One thing we can all learn from Kate: Never be afraid of ridiculousness and follow your dream. (Start by putting on ‘Wuthering Heights’ or ‘Baboushka’ and dance in your living room…..just let go….).
