Paris / Day 1:
When I meet Dodo at Café de Flore she had just returned
from a trip to New York.
She told me that she was so inspired by the energy of this
city that she HAD to get herself a pair of sneakers at
Nike town to become part of this ‘DKNY feeling’.
Dodo is head designer of the very hip Parisian label
‘Surface to Air‘ and it seems to me that this sudden
‘NY feeling’ describes her thinking on fashion quite well:
every outfit tells a story, but the story might not be obvious
right away.
‘Accept the Mystery’ – that’s the message on her bag.
Dodo’s sunglasses are Mykita & Bernhard Wilhelm,
her blazer is vintage, her turtleneck sweater, pants and
bag are by Surface to Air, sneakers are by Nike.
