The fleamarket at ‘Porte de Clignancourt’ might
not be the one to dig for hidden trasures but it
certanly is a place of great joy and inspiration for
vintage admirers.
Corey loves the old and the new and to her the
value of a piece is not defined by its price tag but
by the idea or the story that’s behind it.
Buying an expensive designer piece is not a way
of showing off a ‘look – I can afford it’ attitute,
for Corey it is rather a way to appreciate
the design work, the creativity and the originality
of a fellow fashion designer.
But a fleamarket bargain or a cheapy dress from
a market can make her equally excited than a
Dries van Noten dress.
