Sooner or later every true hat-lover will end up
with a real Borsalino. This all-time classic came
into Gunnar’s life on his birthday and works perfectly
with his clasic-progressive-orthodox-vintage style.
Classic – because he still wears the classic menswear
components, progressive – because the proportions
are unusual (slim pants and Doc Martens combined
with a quite voluminous upper part), his head reminds
me of a orthodox jew and his cardigan/hat/scarf –
ensemble is very vintage 60ties.
And I am always thrilled when somebody knows how
to do a subtle midnightblue-black combination – that’s
pure understatement.

Gunnar wears a Borsalino hat, an Acne cardigan
and jeans, Doc Martens from a fleamarket, his
jumper is by H+M, and the (invisible) belt  ist by
Hemisphere.
