How can you possible wear sparkling pants if you are a
straight man (and don’t work in showbiz)? You definitely
can, if you are Gunnar and you pick a very subtle sparkle
in a denim blue, you chose a simple slim (not tight!) cut
and you wear it with the typical grandpa ensemble – felt
hat, 3/4 length coat, knitted scarf, leather gloves. The
boots give a nice workwear touch.
I like  Gunnar’s style a lot, it is so reduced, yet very special
and nerdy-masculine. The colors are never flashy, he likes
the subtleties of a navy/ black combination or beige and
grey and I never saw him wear a crazy cut piece or wild
prints. He loves basics in a very perfectionist way, they
have to fit exactly the right way and they have to  feel right.
A little bit of extravagance (like sparkling pants) is OK, but
never too much. What I also like is that he doesn’t have a
ton of clothes (just hats)- he picks his pieces carefully and
doesn’t go for second best.

Gunnar wears shiny pants by Cheap Monday, a vintage
army coat, boots by hessnatur, a hat and gloves by H+M
and the cashmere scarf that his mum knitted for him.
