Paris/Istanbul Diary:
It’s Fabric Show in Paris and that’s where I meet Corey, as usual. Corey goes all classic – we are in Paris after all and Paris is the capital of classic chic. Classic can be very boring, it means a look that’s well tested and approved, a look that’s not flashy or extreme at all, like blazer, loose pants, scarf, small handbag, dark sunglasses and Chanel flats – good quality is important. But classic can also mean ‘class’ if you wear it right like Corey. Pants are just a little shorter than usual, scarf is a little more colorful and a bit longer than average, sunglasses a little darker. Add a generous portion of personality and some tattoos and you have a not-boring-at-all-look for an exhausting day of digging through fabrics.

Ich fürchte den “klassischen Stil” beinahe schon, aber so wie Corey es macht, finde ich ihn sogar tragbar, ohne gleich wie eine fürchterlich ernste, fürchterlich strenge, fürchterlich kleinliche Möchtegern-Lady auszusehen. Nein, ich finde ihn sogar super! Vielleicht kann ich in so doch auch noch für mich entdecken.
