Get a nice sweater. You can go all Rocky Balboa with simple grey melange or chose a great colour. Go for djungle print, embroidery or sequins if you want. But do not – under no circumstances – wear sweatpants with any of them. Even if your sweat-shirt has got rhinestones, shoulder pads and gold tassels all over the place – no sweatpants (unless you DO want to look like Rocky Balboa or Paris Hilton). A sweater needs a bit of contrast to look cool, so you have to tone the ‘sweat’ part down a bit and enhance the ‘casual sophistication’. A long floaty dress/skirt is as good as a tiny, tight miniskirt but chose your accessories and shoes wisely if you’re off to a fancy night out (like Corey, about to have a lovely evening in Paris with her lovely friend Julia).
