Paris/Istanbul Diary:
Paris stinks – it’s true. Especially the metro is probably the smelliest place on earth. I really do like Paris, it’s such a beautiful city, delicious food, beautiful people, good energy, but once you get into the metro you wonder what on earth is rotting away in those tunnels. Especially after a good meal it’s really hard to ‘digest’. Late at night Dodo and I took the metro despite all stinkiness and even though it had been a very long day I could talk her into letting me take a few quick pictures in the tube. Just to get a little bit of beauty, a sparkle from her allover sequined sweater, a whiff of summer from her white leather espadrilles and the soft shimmer of her printed silk pants in the harsh neon lights of a Paris underground night.

Dodo wears a sequined sweater from a second hand store in Berlin, shoes from a second hand store in N.Y. and pants by Surface to Air.
