When we come back from vacation we are – at least for a few days – in a state of transition. The twighlight zone between carefree walking into the sunset on a sandy beach and unpacking suitcases, doing laundry and getting back to work. To keep that ‘holiday feeling’ alive we dress as if we were still on vacation. Some of us walk around in a sarong for a few days, some wear anklets, hair stays a bit more unkempt than usually. We are showing the world: This is the new me!
Vacations are the perfect time to reinvent ourselves: we go some place where nobody knows us and we can be daring! If it works, we go home and continue. Usually we find out after a few days that anklets are not so comfortable worn with woollen socks and that you feel a little odd riding the bus in a sarong. And I am sure that the first chilly September wind will send just-back-from-Croatia-Clara running for a cozy jumper but until then I am extremely thrilled to see her in her ‘Lil Kim Bling’ outfit sporting a pair of ‘adilettes’. Keep that spirit going, girl!

Clara wears a corsage made by herself, jeans by Cos, adilettes by Adidas, sunglasses by Ray Ban and necklaces from her flat mate.
